Travel Log: San Francisco Day 3

8 / 21 / 16

Today had one clear goal: Go to Japantown. Two friends of ours were coming up to meet us and so we all decided to go together. It’s a really nice mall and I wish I took more pictures of it, but I was mostly distracted by Pokemon GO. We even took over a gym there:
osakacastle

We ate at a really nice Japanese place called Izumiya. All the food was super delicious and they had the Okonomiyaki I actually had in Japan–though, I went with Salmon and it was just super amazing. They also had super good soup and best of all… TAKOYAKI. Which I wish I took a picture of, but I ate it too fast. It was definitely the best Takoyaki I’ve had in the US. For now, please accept this picture of some of my Salmon with some of my rice:

I also tried some Takoyaki at a special booth, but I actually think the Takoyaki at Izumiya was better.
takoyakichai
The Vanilla Chai was really good though.

As for bought stuff, we didn’t get too much:
toys
The Cookies were won from a crane game. I probably would have gotten more of the CardCaptor Sakura things too if I realized they were pins as I really like most of the options. I also wish I got a box with the option of ChibiUsa too, but I’m happy I at least got Usagi as she and ChibiUsa are my favorite Sailor Moon characters.

We then headed back to the room and after helping me get Marcie back (I’ll be writing in my Animal Crossing blog about that once I’m back home :3), our friends left. This was a nice shot from our hotel room though:

Sometime later, we decided to have dinner at Myconos Greek Restaurant and it was some of the best Greek Food we had. We got the big combo platter and everything was just amazing–the biggest surprises were things that we normally just found okay were incredibly delicious and we wished there were more:
greek
We had tea and Baklava for Dessert <3 After that, it was back to the room! Tomorrow we're hoping to do quite a bit so I hope we can get it all done before we head home on Monday.

Travel Log: San Francisco – Day 1 & 2

8 / 20 / 168 / 20 / 16

So, we arrived in San Francisco on Thursday and I wasn’t feeling too great–I had pretty bad jet lag mixed with allergies from the weather change (roughly 30 degrees difference) and I was really off–not to mention tired due to not having slept well. On the bright side, there were Pokestops like everywhere–from the airport to the ride to the hotel.

Thus, we decided to mostly take it easy. Our room was upgraded for free and the Front Desk guy was super nice giving us a map, list of places in the area, and a bunch of things to help us with our first visit.
hotelroom

We had lunch and dinner in the restaurant. We shared a Cheese and Charcuterie Board which was great for an appetizer and then I had their Blue Cheese Burger while Mark got a Chicken Wrap. The burger was pretty good, but only places where there were a lot of cheese–it didn’t feel too flavorful otherwise and was just okay where the cheese was a lot less.

For dinner, we decided to just get appetizers and dessert. We shared this… special pizza thing that was really good and chicken fingers which were also tasty. For dessert, he go their special Cookie Skillet that was all caramel and vanilla-y while I got the super amazing brownie with whipped cream and chocolate ice cream. I think the cheese plate and Brownie are my favorites.

Also the Room key is adorable:
pass

We pretty much stayed in the room otherwise, but still had fun thanks to a Pokestop we can reach from our room.

Today (Friday–though, I suppose it is after midnight now so yesterday) we really wanted to do more. Checking with some friends who we will be seeing tomorrow, we decided today we’d try a few places out and maybe go check out the hotel Worlds is taking place at despite only some things being public. I wanted to look at the store anyway (DESPITE NO MEGA AUDINO THINGS. NOT EVEN A MEGA AUDINO BANNER. I SURE HOPE THE AWESOME WINNING MEGA AUDINO DECK HAS GIVEN IT MORE LOVE AFTER THEY DIDN’T EVEN THINK THEY’D NEED A PICTURE) so we figured it’d be a good chance to explore and ride the Trolley.

We started with a Breakfast Buffet in the hotel which was kind of plain compared to lunch and dinner. Then, Mark wanted to watch the special Star Citizen Presentation that was at Gamescom. There is a free fly week too right now so it’s a perfect chance to try the game’s alpha.

Once it was over, after some debate, we decided we’d go to Cookie Love. We picked out 6 different cookies (I think the Campfire one was my favorite) and then went over to Spinnerie for lunch. I had Salmon with Truffle Mashed Potatoes while Mark had Mediterranean-spiced Chicken & Couscous.
fridaylunch

After dropping the cookies off in the Room, it was off to the Trolley!
insidetrolley
We were heading towards where Worlds was taking place to check out the store.

I kept hearing mixed things if it was public or not, but we could still try to check, right? Thankfully, with a little push, we headed on up with roughly 10 minutes to go. While some stuff was sold out (like the life-sized Charmander Plush, but we wouldn’t be able to get one home anyway), we did pick up the special Pikachu plush and a screen wiper of the nice artwork:
merchandise
(The Espeon is Mark’s :P)

I love the bag we got everything in too:
merchandise2

On the way out, we also said Hi to Renae and Josh which was nice–I’ve been moderating for them on Twitch for like… 2 years? And they are really nice so it was nice to say Hi and give them hugs and stuff before they headed out to dinner :3

We then headed to the Mall to get some Boba Tea:
bobatea
It was very tasty <3 After some debate on dinner, we decided to try this Burger place nearby called Super Duper Burgers. It reminded me a bit of Smash Burger (though, with less options) and while the Burgers were good, I feel the Milkshake and Garlic Fries outshined it.
superduper

It was then a trolley ride back to the Hotel. Tomorrow is Japantown and hopefully the Disney museum too <3 Anyway, you can check more photos out on my Twitter :) And Pokemon GO-related stuff will be coming up in the Pokemon GO Log 6!

Pokemon GO – Update 5!

8 / 7 / 16

July 25th, 2016

Updates are a bit slow right now so depending on how things go, I may turn this into a 2 week update instead of just a weekly one. No eggs have hatched, mostly Doduos being found, and not being able to go out makes it kind of hard to find new things.

I did finally catch enough Horsea for a Seadra though so there’s something at least.

July 27th, 2016

Got the Bronze Psychic Medal! Yay!

July 28th, 2016

Things are still going pretty poorly :( I did use a Lucky Egg to do the Evolution level up thing… I got to level 16 and I am already about 75% to 17. I also got the Gold Medal for 200 Flying Pokemon so yay~ Sadly, still no new Pokemon though…

July 29th, 2016

We went out a bit today, but only managed to hit two PokeStops and no new Pokemon :( On the bright side, I did get a Growlithe at home so there’s another new Pokemon finally! I’m less than 200 away from hitting level 17 so keeping my fingers crossed…

And while no other new Pokemon were gotten, I did hit level 17 so there’s something for today.

July 30th, 2016

There was a new update today! It changed a few things… I hope the footprints will return and that we can see more clothing options in the future. I feel like something is weird with the catching mechanic now, though? I can’t really explain what however… I did finally catch enough Caterpie for a Butterfree though so yay~

August 1st, 2016August 2nd, 2016

Doduo no longer seems to be as common here, thankfully. It seems Goldeen may have replaced it? But it’s still not nearly as bad. I’ve mostly seen Goldeen and Bulbasaur though and actually managed to catch enough Bulbasaur to get an Ivysaur now.

One of my eggs also finally hatched–a Paras. While it’s one I already have, I do still need a Parasect so at least it got me closer to that.

August 3rd, 2016

Saw a Wartortle today. Sadly, despite using my great balls and razz berries, it escaped. I’m super upset about it :/ I’m already getting low on balls (and now have no great balls or razz berries) and this sucks. Plus it’s another seen in comparison to my caught count and it just makes me sad. I need two more Squirtle to be able to evolve one, 6 more Tentacool to be able to evolve one, and 1 more Oddish to be able to evolve one to have my Catch count the same, but I’m just so bummed right now.

I blame its CP which was 600-something :/ I’ll happily take low CP for Pokedex completion. I’m much for interested in finishing my Pokedex than having super powerful Pokemon.

On the bright side, I caught the last Oddish I needed so now I have a Gloom! Yay!

August 4th, 2016

So, while we still have a good amount of Doduo and Dodrio around here, the “nests” have definitely lessened and we actually see a good amount of Bulbasaur and Goldeen now. Thanks to all the Bulbasaur, I managed to get the Silver Grass Badge at least!

August 5th, 2016

I hit level 18~ It’s nice to have some Great Balls again… We also went out today, but didn’t hit many PokeStops so our Pokeball count is still low with the catch rate bug around :(

While I didn’t catch anything new (or manage to hatch any eggs–my husband got a Hitmonchan from one of his though T__T), I did get another egg bringing me back up to 9 and caught enough Venonat to evolve one into Venomoth.

August 6th, 2016

And to finish up this two week log, I caught two Squirtle today which finally gave me enough candy to evolve one into Wartortle! Now I just need to get a Tentacruel or a lot more Tentacool so my Seen and Caught counts match again…

Style Savvy: Fashion Forward – Playing the Demo!

8 / 4 / 16

While the game doesn’t come out until later this month (about 2 weeks!), the demo came out on the eShop today. It’s kind of a rushed version of first part of the main game, but it’s a good way to introduce a lot of the aspects of the game. The only things it didn’t show were the Fashion Shows, the Model Photo shoots, and the Design studio (I actually designed my logo ages ago so it’ll be nice to finally create it ingame once the full game is out). If you’d like to see just the video, click here! Otherwise, you can read my thoughts below and see some screenshots!

The game features the most expansive character creation thus far in a Style Savvy with a lot of options to choose from and the Demo doesn’t even show all of them–it actually doesn’t show the hair style/hair color options to start or a starting clothing option. My cute Demo character:

She’ll probably have a different hairstyle and maybe color depending on them in the full game. Plus possibly a different starting outfit too.

Not to mention this has been the largest amount of things to do thus far in a Style Savvy game. with 5 different areas you can focus in (or 6 if you count the Fashion shows as a separate thing, but that’s more of a combination to show off your skills from the other things) and as mentioned, 3 of which you can experience in the demo. Essentially, your character is here on Holiday/Vacation for the Demo which is neat.

One of the coolest things with this game is that it feels very alive–the world doesn’t feel as static as the other ones. It got built up a bit more in the second game, but this game actually shows you interacting at locations and walking around:

Seriously, this is so cute:

You even personally wave good bye to everyone too:

Once I headed to my room, I picked out my first outfit:

I’m not super big on the clothing options in the demo–my favorites were only blue, but I still tried my best to put together something cute and pink.

My favorite part of the room is this teddy bear:

You sadly can’t decorate your room in this game though–only the dollhouses which while it’s a feature I like, I wish it could’ve been alongside decorating your bedroom.

I also got my hair done, though, I may give her bangs in the future:

And of course, besides just clothing, you do get to do hair and make-up:

Sadly, there is no way to save (which makes sense as it’s a very shortened version of the main game) so I’ll have to remember a lot of stuff I did from the demo :P I was hoping we could transfer data, but seeing how they did the demo, I can see why it won’t be that way. Regardless, this has me even more excited for the game. I can’t wait to play it later this month. If you haven’t gotten it yet, I recommend looking into pre-ordering it or picking it up when it comes out! I really can’t recommend it enough. It’s such a fun game and they just keep making it better. Though, please add bedroom customization back in the next game <3

Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer – August’s Challenge!

8 / 1 / 16

I apologize for the lack of Happy Home Designer :( It’s truly something I want to play more, but things are just kind of a mess right now and until money situations improve, I can’t do them as much as I’d like to. Regardless, I always try to take time for the Monthly Challenge at least.

August Happy Home Challenge – A comfy, cozy, lifestyle.

Rating Address: 0990-5739-319

This challenge didn’t come with any new items and forced me to use the Tent and Candy House of all things so I’m actually super disappointed :( I did what I could, but this was a frustrating challenge.

Pokemon Global Link Photos

7 / 23 / 16

With the Global Link for X&Y and ORAS closing in the next few months for whatever Sun & Moon’s version will be like, I wanted to at least archive the photos I took. I wish I could save record of the medals and log-book too though :(

Hopefully I can think of some way to save the log book and medals. In the meantime, I’m going to prepare to trade all my PokeMiles for Rare Candy and PP Up and maybe a few Ability Capsules.

Pokemon GO – Update 4!

7 / 23 / 167 / 23 / 16

July 17th, 2016

So, the game was actually down most of today which was more than a bit frustrating. On the way to Manhattan for some cupcakes for my birthday (which is tomorrow at the time of me writing this), it finally started working once we got into the city. I wish it worked a bit sooner to have had it longer, but I’m just happy it started working while I was out.

Besides stopping at a bunch of Pokestops (I even got the medal for 100 Pokestops!), I managed to catch a few new Pokemon–Clefairy (FINALLY), Voltorb, and Magnemite! The Magnemite was almost missed actually because it spawned pretty far away, but I usually have the game pretty zoomed out so I was still able to grab it!

Sadly, I did not see another Tentacruel :( One of my eggs hatched though–a Pidgey. :/ I guess if Megas end up a thing, however, I could probably use another Pidgeot at least…

I also managed to get another Eevee which let me finally evolve one and using the name trick (Nicknaming the Eevee Rainer for Vaporeon, Pyro for Flareon, or Sparky for Jolteon. It will only work once per evolution so you can’t name two Eevee Rainer and get two Vaporeon–only one is guaranteed), I got a Vaporeon! I changed its name to Kasumi :3 I’ll probably be evolving the one into Flareon next followed by the one into Jolteon.

On a weird note, while back at home, I ended up having the same glitch I had with the Tentacruel with a Tauros–just with the arrows on the right instead of the left:
glitch
Plus, the catch was successful unlike with the Tentacruel where it failed. With Tentacruel, I closed and reopened the app, while with Tauros I hit the run button (since I had already caught one, I wasn’t going to be as upset if it failed). Nothing else works besides the run button or closing it out, but I’m still not sure what causes it.

Another egg hatched and thankfully a new Pokemon–Machop! :D Yay~

July 18th, 2016

The day started off with two eggs hatching!! I got a Geodude (:D) and another Pidgey (:(). Hoping the other 6 eggs will hatch sometime today as well!

Upon getting back up after sleeping, the app was having its usual log-in issues, but a quick restart of it actually fixed it and it seems to be good now, thankfully. I also hatched another egg–just a Bellsprout though.

My next egg that hatched was another Pikachu. So far, I’ve gotten all 3 of my Pikachu this way. This also gave me the Pikachu Fan medal.

Despite some server issues, thankfully everything was more or less good by the time we left and best of all, the restaurant we had my birthday dinner at was a Pokestop!! I got lots more eggs and one egg did hatch, but I honestly have no idea what it was as it seems it hatched around one of the freezings and bleh. It doesn’t look like it was new though.

I did manage to get a Slowpoke however and finally was able to evolve a Spearow into Fearow. We saw lots of shadows for Pokemon we didn’t have yet, but sadly no others showed up after Slowpoke :( Still gonna cross my fingers for good stuff in eggs though.

And my next egg was pretty nice–it was an Abra! :D Yay! And I hit level 15! Unfortunately, the egg after it was a Zubat… But my 10KM Egg was a Magmar! And that was it for the night. Looking forward to more eggs hatching tomorrow.

Anyway, while not exactly Pokemon GO related, I did want to share this lovely gift that TadBitDiGital drew for my birthday :D As it IS Pokemon related:
magift

And also this lovely gift that Cheesey did for my birthday as well :D Also Pokemon related!:
Cn7HGscWAAAUX3S

Thank you both again! <3 I love them so much. July 19th, 2016

Besides more server issues earlier, not much happened today. My 2KM egg hatched into a Pidgey :/ Acording to Serebii’s site, I already have all the different Pokemon I get from 2KM eggs. Spearow, Weedle, and Pidgey are the ones I’d want the least though as I have all the evolutions for them already. Technically Zubat too, but I am saving in advance for Crobat… Honestly, Magikarp would be helpful though just due to how many are needed to evolve one…

For 5KM eggs, I still need, at the time of writing this anyway, a Diglett, Growlithe, Ponyta, Farfetch’d, Seel, Grimer, Drowzee, Cubone, Lickitung, Kangaskhan, and Porygon. Farfetch’d and Kangaskhan are the priorities there due to being region exclusive and thus, there isn’t any other way to get them until Global Trading happens or I can afford to travel to Australia for the first time and Asia again.

For 10KM, I still need Onix, Hitmonchan, Chansey, Mr. Mime, Jynx, Electabuzz, Lapras, Omanyte, Kabuto, Aerodactyl, and Snorlax. While Chansey and Lapras are the ones I’d want most, Mr. Mime is also priority due to also being a region exclusive.

I just hope I get more eggs soon I guess. And can start finding more Pokemon I need… One thing I need to try and stop doing is transferring Pokemon I don’t need so quickly. I really need to level up faster ._. But I also care more about completing my Pokedex over getting my level up.

July 20th, 2016

Another egg hatched–a Weedle :( I feel so unlucky with these eggs… The last three are all 5KM though so keeping my fingers crossed for something new.

Sadly, the game was down for nearly the rest of the day and so nothing else really happened. I did hatch another egg… but a Bellsprout :( 2 5KM eggs left.

My next egg was a Sandshrew. It gave me a lot of candy at least, but… Also, I’ve gotten so many Doduo at this point, I got the Gold Normal medal:
somanydoduo

I CAUGHT A WIGGLYTUFF :D So happy I got something new today…

July 21st, 2016

Despite occasional issues, the app seems to be doing pretty well today. My final egg hatched, but just a Tentacool. I suppose it helps me get Tentacruel though at least.

Unfortunately, now that I’m out of eggs there most likely won’t be any updates unless another surprise like Wigglytuff happens. We’re in a heat Advisory and air advisory until Saturday evening and thus, I can’t go out again unfortunately :(

July 23rd, 2016

As expected, nothing really happened yesterday beyond taunting nearbys I couldn’t find.

Today though, I got to go out for a bit so at least I got some Pokestops… Unfortunately, I still had issues with Pokeballs and item space and I really hate how all of that works. I got two eggs, but that’s really it for today :( I hope they hatch into something good–both are 5km.

I don’t expect them to hatch today though, so I’ll end the entry here. If something surprisingly does happen or one hatches, I’ll edit the post then.

Edit: Just caught a Cubone! Yay!

Pokemon GO – Update 3!

7 / 16 / 167 / 16 / 16

So, if you read my twitter, you’ll know I took a poll recently on how often people would like to see updates :) Weekly won, so I decided to post them up every Saturday! This is a collection of what we did each day of the week and I’ll be continuing with this until we get all 151. :)

July 10th

Despite getting up early, we didn’t really end up going anywhere just yet. Regardless, I did get one new Pokemon while sitting around–a Rhyhorn! It was so exciting to see. I was so nervous too as it escaped several of my Pokeballs…

We tried to go out a little later, but it was a bit hotter than expected so we took a bit of a different way towards the close Pokestop. Unfortunately, we only got two Pokemon (Goldeen and Doduo), both of which we’ve gotten before. I did get 3 Pokeballs and a Revive which is nice. Unfortunately, it seems we also keep missing the Lures and the Red Team is definitely a bit more popular around here… I hope the Blue Team can get the gym back soon…

While back at home, both Pokestops near us were constantly getting lures. My timing seems to be awful. On the bright side, my last two eggs hatched! I got a Psyduck and a Mankey.

The night ended with just catching random Doduo (3 of them no less…) and another Oddish from home. It’s too bad we couldn’t get closer to some of the ones we still needed on the nearby

July 11th

The day didn’t start off too great with the Pokemon Trainer Club login servers being down again… Thankfully, this time it was just for maintenance and it came back a few hours later. Once I got in, I even managed to catch a Caterpie finally. I’m glad to have finally gotten one.

Besides that though, we didn’t really catch much until we went out later that evening to the park. I managed to get a few new Pokemon such as Hitmonlee, Bulbasaur, and Sandshrew.

I also finally caught enough Weedle to evolve a Kakuna into Beedrill. We stopped at a lot of Pokestops including one area that had a gym and 3 Pokestops in close proximity–all with lures:

Sadly, most of the Pokemon we got were repeats, though, I was happy for the 2 Eevees and I did get a Sandshrew at least. As for the Pokestops themselves, I ended up with 8 eggs–4 with 2KM and 4 with 5KM. Still have yet to get a 10KM one though. Besides eggs, I got some Pokeballs, Super Potions, Potions, Revives, and Razz Berries.

On our way back though, while trying to stop at a Pokestop midway between Lure Central and the entrance, it wouldn’t load so we decided to restart the app… only it wouldn’t let us log in. In fact, I couldn’t log back in until shortly after getting back. No new Pokemon since, but I did hatch my first egg… for a Zubat :( At least I still need more candy for Golbat I guess… My second egg ended up being a Caterpie :/

July 12th

Today started off with another egg hatching… a Magikarp. While I suppose I technically need to catch 102 Magikarp, this helps lessen how much at least, but I really was hoping to get some new Pokemon (or at least the Machop my husband had gotten that I still need–he has a Jolteon and a Fearow too that I don’t have yet).

Things got a little better when I got a Tauros though! Tauros was actually the last Pokemon I needed when I completed my Pokedex back when I played Blue when I was 9 :)

My next egg ended up being another Caterpie… I was able to evolve one into Metapod now though and I got a medal for hatching 10 eggs:
eggmedal
I really want to get every medal in at least Bronze if not gold versions of them all.

Sadly, the Clefairy never came back and the Tentacool we saw later disappeared as soon as we went out :/ We didn’t end up catching any new Pokemon, but I got another egg and some Pokeballs from the Pokestop nearby (which had a lure that ended just as we got close enough… our timing continues to suck) at least.

We did get an Exeggcute at home though which was nice so there’s one new Pokemon!

Late that night, another of my eggs hatched… A Krabby. I don’t need a Krabby at all. I already have a Kingler :/ This has been some awful egg luck, honestly. To make things worse, a Haunter was in Nearby but it was too late to head back out by myself and thus, I couldn’t go looking for it. This is just so incredibly frustrating and upsetting. ._.

July 13th, 2016

My next two eggs hatched and were also pretty disappointing–a Poliwag and a Bellsprout. I don’t know why my egg luck seems so awful lately. I did get another medal atleast:
grassmedal
And I was able to evolve a Bellsprout into a Weepinbell though. And I hit level 12 so now I finally have Great Balls.

The next egg that hatched was a Goldeen :( I suppose it put me closer to a Seaking, but… Meanwhile, my final egg ended up being a Pidgey which is just so unhelpful :/ What a depressing set of eggs.

Haunter did end up coming back though and I managed to catch it so yay! That was sadly really it for today though.

July 14th, 2016

Mostly just continuing of our catching of whatever shows up (and still nothing new T__T), but I did get another medal!:
poisonsilver

We sadly didn’t catch anything new–in fact, nothing new even showed up nearby until it was too late to head out :/ My luck with this is awful. Got another medal though:
bugsilver

July 15th, 2016

Thankfully, today started a bit better with finally catching a Tentacool! This also got me the Silver Badge for getting 50 Pokemon in my Pokedex.

Unfortunately, while things looked promising to actually find new Pokemon today, things quickly went downhill when the Pokemon Trainer Club servers decided to go down again with a new wave of problems. I had been logged in, but accidentally hit to try a different account which caused glitches in a completely different way–everytime I tried to log in, it said my password was wrong. I was able to log into the website fine. I tried resetting my password anyway, still was able to log into the main Pokemon.com website, but as soon as I tried to log into Pokemon GO, I once again got the “Your login information is wrong” message and it somehow broke my PC log in too. I don’t know what is going on, but it’s incredibly frustrating. The password thing seems to finally have settled (I’m getting the authentication thing now) thankfully :/ I just hope it fully works soon.

There was a Slowpoke nearby, but it’ll probably be long gone by the time the servers come back :(

As expected, once the servers came back several hours later, it was gone. On the bright side, we ended up going out to dinner tonight and I managed to catch a couple of new Pokemon–Starmie and Golbat! I’m probably still going to be catching Zubat in preparation for Crobat, but at least I can worry a bit less. I also got a few Pokemon that I still needed to help get more candy for evolving so hopefully I’m not too much further away. I wish I could find another Eevee though so I could finally evolve one of mine…

To end the night the egg I managed to get while out hatched and it was a Pikachu!! I’m so happy. I’ve been really nervous about the fact that I haven’t been able to find a Pikachu and my egg luck has been abysmal so it was so nice to see it when the egg hatched.

If things go as planned tomorrow, hopefully I can catch a lot more Pokemon.

July 16th, 2016

And of course things start off with the server going down again. Just going to cross my fingers that it is back up before we leave, but my hopes aren’t high :(

After several hours, it finally came back up and thankfully, for both Google and PTC. An Ekans was waiting for me when I loaded it up and while I have one already, I still need more for an Arbok. Unfortunately, 20 minutes later the servers died again :/ They are… sort of back up now? But not doing too well. They are really slow and you can’t do much and it’s pretty depressing considering we’re leaving in about a half hour to go out…

So, we were able to go out and the server was pretty much and on and off mess–I had to deal with lots of freezings and lack of loading (Meanwhile, my husband couldn’t and still can’t log in) and it was really frustrating. I managed to get several Pokestops at least (and got back up to 9 eggs including getting my first 10KM egg) and caught a Dratini and Shellder. I almost got a Tentacruel as well, but the game froze and then completely glitched out. In the end, I didn’t succeed and it sadly didn’t pop back up so now I have one more in Seen than caught and it’s bothering me so much and I hope I get a Tentacruel too :/

While I saw many shadows for Pokemon I didn’t have yet, we never got close enough to them sadly. I wish we could have spent more time in Manhattan.

One of the eggs already hatched into another Pikachu (though, I got another egg immediately to replace it so I didn’t even notice at first), but I’m hoping the other 9 will be good.

I’m going to end this now as it’s raining a bit and I don’t see us going out again today, but I’ll edit this if any other eggs hatch or anything new happens.

Edit 1: I had enough candy to evolve my Goldeen! Yay! Now I have a Seaking too. This also gave me a Silver Medal for catching 50 Water Pokemon.

Finally, a poll!:

Do you want to hear about all Pokemon I catch?

Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer – More houses done! & Some stuff on Style Savvy 3

7 / 14 / 16

Things have been a bit crazy lately and most of my free time has been going to Pokemon GO, but I wanted to try and do at least a few houses in Happy Home Designer today :) I’ll also be doing a Stream on Monday as well so if you prefer seeing the game streamed, that will happen next week! Most likely either late morning or early afternoon at the latest as we’ll be going out for dinner.

Before we move onto the houses though, I want to get some stuff out of the way with Style Savvy 3. As everyone knows now, it will be coming out August 19th, 2016. Normally this wouldn’t be an issue, but we were going to try and go to Pokemon Worlds this year (I’ve never been and thought going for the 20th anniversary would be a nice time to go for my first time ever) which also starts on the 19th. I already have the game preordered to be delivered here at home, but that means I can’t play until I get back home late on the 22nd (it will actually be the 23rd since we’ll get home after midnight :/).

While us keeping the Worlds trip is still up in the air (Money is just not great right now and while the plane tickets are already paid for, the hotel is not) and obviously, if it doesn’t happen there isn’t any overlapping issues, but the main problem is that Style Savvy 3 is a real time game like the first game. While there isn’t anything super big I will miss by not being able to play that one weekend, it will still mean I get through the tutorial and unlock things a few days slower than others who start playing the game. Thus, there are a few options…

Style Savvy 3: What would you prefer?

  • Wait until I get home to play (59%, 10 Votes)
  • Download while at Worlds. Take screenshots and just make entries. (29%, 5 Votes)
  • Download while at Worlds and record the gameplay. (12%, 2 Votes)

Total Voters: 17

Now, I mentioned before, I really do not like digital copies of games so I definitely would prefer to have the physical one, but I also don’t think shipping it to the hotel is very viable either. Regardless of what poll option wins, I am not going to guarantee that is what I will do–I just hope I find something that works, but even if there isn’t any Style Savvy 3 stuff until the 23rd, I’ll at least be posting some things from Pokemon Worlds :)

But yes, let’s start interior decorating!:

Frank – A miniatures museum

Rodeo – A milk factory

Deli – A room scented by curry.

Only a few houses today unfortunately (mostly because it’s about to storm and I’m worried about possibly blackouts), but there will at least be a good amount on Monday :)
